  • Unfortunately, we are unable to treat anyone who fits into this category.

  • All appointments already include a thorough assessment and consultation, however if you’d like a separate consultation you can most definitely book accordingly.

  • You must be 18 or older to undergo any cosmetic injectables treatment.

  • There’s not a lot you need to do, just follow a these simple pre-care instructions:

    • No aspirin, anti-inflammatory medications or alcohol for 48 hours prior.

    • Come to the appointment with a makeup free face.

    • Ensure all forms that are sent to you prior to your appointment are filled out before your appointment.

  • Yes, so long as you give us more than 48 hours notice. Please contact us on 0481 241 694 or curvycosmeticnurse@outlook.com and we will help reschedule you.

  • We use a very strong compounded numbing cream that consists of 3 different types of numbing agents, in high percentages.

  • Downtime is minimal after most appointments. Some swelling and bruising is to be expected, for this reason we recommend ensuring you allow 4-6 weeks between your treatment and any upcoming events.

  • Yes! There are several:

    • If you are currently are on or have been on antibiotics in the last 14 days for an acute infection.

    • If you are acutely unwell/ symptomatic.

    • Have had Covid in the past 2-4 weeks.

    • An active cold sore, open wound or acne in the area being treated.

    • Receiving your Covid vaccine less than 14 days before or after your treatment.

    • Have either Myasthenia Gravis or Eaton Lambert syndrome.

    • Pregnancy, breast feeding or trying to conceive.

    • Some autoimmune diseases.

    These are just some of the common contraindications I come across on a weekly basis.

    If you were to be treated with dermal fillers whilst any of the above apply to you, it can result in significant infection and/or your immune system attacking the dermal filler which can lead to rejection and nodules that then would require dissolving.
